International customers please read notes at bottom of description. Very kool addition to your NCR collection. Ribbon is in two pieces but otherwise reasonably intact and probably serviceable if re-inked and re-threaded. Either of the two silver buttons next to the handset cradle pop out when the handset is lifted. The dials on the date printer mechanism permit setting from 01/01/53 to 12/31/64 so I would say confidently that this was manufactured in the early 1950s. Believe these units were used in department stores to contact the credit department and print a date on an“authorization” form which would then be slipped into the storage drawer. ![]() The earpiece cover is cracked(missing a chunk- it is a standard Western Electric handset, should be fairly easy to obtain a replacement) Earpiece transducer is also missing. ![]() NATIONAL CASH REGISTER REMOTE CREDIT AUTHORIZATION TELEPHONE-INTERCOM& RECEIPT DATER-PRINTER UNIT.
